CHAD BOESE

Chad has been a staple of the Sound Decision team as an expert technician since June 2014. Bringing over two decades of industry experience, he built his foundational expertise in car audio starting in 2003 before bringing his talents to the shop. Chad offers fantastic technical knowledge to the bay, having earned his MECP certification multiple times alongside specialized training in paint protection.

When he’s working in the shop, Chad’s favorite projects are remote starts—which he notes “just kinda come natural” to him—as well as installing subs and amps. He brings great energy to the team, describing himself as hardworking, honest, and a self-proclaimed “goofball.” His approach to his work and colleagues is deeply inspired by his grandmother, who taught him to always "be a good person and treat people the way you want to be treated."

Off the clock, Chad loves spending time with his wife and two teenage children, and he enjoys getting outside, especially to relax around a bonfire. He is a massive movie buff who collects physical media and absolutely anything related to Ghostbusters. As an impressive bonus talent, Chad is also a Hall of Fame football player for the Northland Community and Technical College Class of 2002, officially inducted in May of 2014.
